I don’t think he should get credit for loan forgiveness for kids who were defrauded by their schools because that’s actually part of the master promissory note. It’s part of the contract, it’s just that the worst president of my lifetime, the dude before Biden, he stopped processing those forgiveness applications. As you noted, that clown actually changed the rules. But I don’t see how it was legal for them to change the rules on contracts that the government drew up after they had been executed, so I don’t think that would have stood if challenged.

So I guess Biden gets credit for putting it back to how it was and honoring the contracts that the government drew up for these loans, but to claim that he actually forgave these loans is disingenuous. My student loans were forgiven in 2014 because I became disabled. Obama didn’t forgive my loans, it was part of the contract.
